develop religious and pastoral programming under the purview of the church. However, no medical, psychological, or counseling
theory/approach can promise success in all cases. Therefore, Didasko Ministry Resources, LLC and its managers make no
guarantees regarding the effectiveness of the material presented. The effectiveness of these procedures, protocols, and techniques
may depend on many variables outside the control of Didasko including (but not limited to) counselee motivation, severity of
problem, availability of support resources, and the approach of the counselor. Didasko Ministry Resources, LLC cannot be held
responsible for any adverse effect due to inappropriate use, misuse, or misapplication of our product.
We encourage all pastors, lay ministers, and church organizations using our material to establish a positive relationship with
trained and licensed medical and mental health professionals in their area in order to provide referrals to their counselees when
appropriate. Appropriate reasons for referral to trained and licensed mental health professionals include, but are not limited to,
the following:
- Counselee making suicidal or homicidal threats.
- Counselee reporting physical and/or sexual abuse or neglect of underage children.
- Counselee experiencing psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, etc.
- Any other issue which the pastor or lay minister feels unequipped to handle at an appropriate level.
